Heronswood

Upon first entering their new property, the owners accidentally startled a great blue heron in the nearby pond. Thus naming this garden Heronswood. That was 1987. Fast forward many decades, and a few owners later, and you will enter a garden that has grown to more than 15 acres of fantastic flora from around the world. Heronswood is an internationally recognized treasure nestled in North Kitsap, even garnering the attention of Martha Stewart. It is currently being restored by the S’Klallam Tribe.
